I just wanted to thank you for making our weekend so glorious, we had an amazing time at Loose Reins in your beautiful lodges surrounded by your wonderful animals and the most tranquil views, it was pure magic. We loved every second our family ranged between the ages of 16 to 79 and it was truly special for us all. Wow, what an amazing place! Peaceful, tranquil, breathtaking, home from home are just a few words I could use to describe it but it really wouldn't do it justice!! We had a really lovely family holiday, the kids love it and moaned on our last night that they had to go home (my kids are home bunnies so that's a huge compliment). We have had such a wonderful week chilling out here everyone is so friendly and we have felt a real part of Loose Reins for a brief period. The peace and quiet is fantastic. We loved our cabin - furry blankets a favourite, everything so well thought through and everything you could possibly need is provided. We have loved looking out from our comfortable rocking chairs and helping leading the horses out to their fields - even me, a horse phobic mum! Thank you. It was amazing! I really enjoyed leading the horses to and from the fields. The riding was great. I loved both trail rides and the western experience. It has been an amazing trip. Everyone is so friendly and really made us feel part of Loose Reins. It was one of the best experiences I have had! Thank you! Florence & Eleanor

Thank you SO much for such a wonderful break in Gold Panners. That moment of excitement on entering the cabin did not fade throughout the week - I SO looked forward to returning to Loose Reins after venturing out for a few hours. The level of comfort in the cabin is outstanding, and the fixtures and fittings are first rate. Chilling on the porch/veranda of an evening with a book and a glass of wine, soaking up the silence, was my idea of heaven. Having the horses on site is a bonus - watching them out in the paddock of an evening was also relaxing. You have a real gem in Loose Reins, and you should be very proud indeed of your achievement. Dear all at 'Loose Reins', A BIG thank you for a wonderful stay!!! We booked this little holiday as a treat for us all following our baby son's surgery a few weeks back. It has been just what we all needed - well relaxed (as much as possible with a 2yr old and 4 month old), explored the beautiful countryside and beaches, cooked on the fire, collected eggs, groomed the ponies and chatted to the goats - Butch and Sundance - Isla's new best friends! The lodge was perfect - spotlessly clean and every detail thought of. Can we stay forever?!?!?! P.S. We will be back next year with friends in tow! Also, thank you to Marc who rescued Isla and I in the storm and drove us back up to our lodge (twice really, as I forgot our biscuits) much to the amusement of 'the boys' who stay warm and dry making fire!We really did have an absolutely fabulous time here. Wow! Thank you so much. What a treat it has been to stay here. Even though it's only been a short stay it has really felt like much longer - so relaxing. You have thought of everything and made it so easy for us to just get on and enjoy our stay. We've enjoyed quality family time in these beautiful surroundings. We were given such a warm welcome as we arrived and that immediately put us at ease. The accommodation is so unique; our two boys have love their bunk beds and finding the hidden storage spaces! My family and I stayed at one of the canvas lodges in April this year and I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to the whole team at Loose Reins, from myself and my whole family. We all had a wonderful time and my two children won`t stop talking about the experience. Being away from our everyday urban lifestyle was a real eye opener for the children and the sense of freedom and calm was unparalleled. The layout of Loose Reins and the whole western set up with attention to small details is very hard to find in the U.K and we all loved it. Our stay was magical and we all thoroughly enjoyed the lovely grounds and being around so many wonderful animals and nice people. We just wanted to say we have REALLY enjoyed our stay! Every little thing has been thought of down to the plasters, suncream and after sun. The cabin itself is beautiful, cosy and quaint! The landscape is idyllic! Arrival was really friendly even though we were late! (Sorry) Any questions we had were answered and the lovely ladies were very helpful!
