Welcome to a day in the life of a real rancher

Start the day by lending a helping hand and feeding our animals, starting with our rare breed of Grey-faced Dartmoor ewes. These lovely ladies are the heart of our ranch and they appreciate a helping hand at mealtime. See if you can spot cuddle-enthusiast Rupert, our homebred crossbreed.

Next up, you’ll get the chance to visit our happy hens. We have lots of different chickens, each with their own distinct personality. We make sure to challenge all ranch hands to spot eggs while they feed our feathery flock.

Make friends with our miniature ponies, Peaches and Tango – they love a good, thorough brush. Practice man braiding and help out with a bit of foot cleaning. There’s lots to learn and lots of hands-on experience.

Butch and Sundance, our dynamic duo of Pygmy goats, are sure to make an appearance sooner or later. They have a particular penchant for hand-picked hazel branches – find them a juicy one and make fast friends with this feisty pair.
